Nominations for the 2024 Virginia Andrus Award are open.
The VA AARP is seeking nominations for the association's most prestigious volunteer award: the AARP Andrus Award for Community Service. This award recognizes persons 50 years old and older who are sharing their experiences, talents, and skills to enrich the lives of others. The successful nominee must meet the AARP vision and purpose:
AARP’s vision is a society in which everyone ages with dignity and purpose and in which AARP helps people fulfill their goals and dreams.
AARP’s purpose is to empower people to choose how they live as they age.
Nominations for the AARP State Andrus Award for Community Service may be submitted by anyone who is not an AARP staff or selection committee member.
